SLACLALS Conferences
SLACLALS is an organization which has been working on promoting and coordinating Commonwealth Literature Studies, organizing seminars and workshops, arranging lectures by writers and scholars, publishing a newsletter about activities in the field of Commonwealth Literature and holding one conference triennially.
The aims of SLACLALS shall be to encourage the study of and research into Commonwealth Literature and Language with special reference to Sri Lanka and to support creative writing in English. SLACLALS has held several conferences and seminars in Peradeniya, Colombo, Kandy, and Sabaragamuwa.
